The Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix (CTODP) and Sacred Heart Parish provide tuition assistance to families at Sacred Heart Catholic School (SHCS). Scholarships are awarded first based on need, and then on availability of additional funds. For the current school year, Sacred Heart Catholic School families received over $400,000 in tuition assistance from CTODP; every family received scholarship funds at some level.

New for the 2009/10 school year - the Catholic Education Fund - a new donor recommended grants program. You will be able to engage your family, friends, and business associates to help cover up to 100% tuition for your child. You may apply for both a CTODP scholarship and a CEF grant. Call Beverly Aviles, School Development Director, at (928) 445-2621, to find out how it works.

CTODP applications are available at the school office. A $21 processing fee, made out to FAIR, is required with the application. You may also apply on-line at www.fairapp.com and pay for processing with VISA or MasterCard. Use school code 700 and password ctodp700.

Sacred Heart Catholic School appreciates all donors for their support of Catholic education through the Arizona State Tax Credit and other student sponsored programs. A special thank you goes out to Sacred Heart, St. Germaine, St. Catherine and St. Joseph parishioners.

Inclement Weather Info

When you suspect weather may interfere with school, please listen to one of the following radio stations: KNOT 1450 AM or KTMG 99.1 FM. You can also access the PUSD website at www.prescottschools.com.

When Prescott Unified closes, Sacred Heart School closes. When Prescott Unified has a late start, Sacred Heart School has a late start. If a two-hour delay is called, students should be dropped off at 10 a.m. School will begin at 10:15 a.m. and dismiss at the regular time. If Prescott Unified has early dismissal, Sacred Heart School will also have early dismissal. If PUSD has a two hour delay on a Friday, or other noon dismissal, Sacred Heart School, K-8, is then canceled completely. Preschool will open at 10am.
